We are seeking a dedicated Pallet Jack Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement, loading, and unloading of materials within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, including proficiency with pallet jacks and heavy equipment operation, to support seamless shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. Duties: Pallet Jack Operator:

• Operate pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely to load and unload shipments efficiently.
• Assist with order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement within storage areas.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate heavy lifting tasks and optimize material flow.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy equipment operation.
• Assist in inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
• Support team members in construction or warehouse projects requiring heavy lifting or specialized equipment.

Skills: Pallet Jack Operator:

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
• Proficiency with pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods.
• Experience working in construction or industrial environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of picker systems or similar order fulfillment technology is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
