Apples have always been an important part of life in Leominster. We use words connected to apples in our general conversations every day…rotten to the core, thick skin, peeled off etc.
Do you agree with these apple sayings?
An apple never falls far from the tree.
You can count the apples on a tree but you can’t count the trees from one apple.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
When the apple is ripe it will fall.
One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel.
Sometimes it is better to give your apple away than to eat it yourself.
